Join the West Hartford Dog Park Coalition for our third annual Pooch Plunge! The dog swim event will be held the evening of Monday, August 23rd at Kennedy Pool in West Hartford from 3:30pm – 7:30pm. Mark your calendar for the best dog event in West Hartford! Admission is just $5.00 per dog per session. Because this continues to be such a popular event, we will be splitting the swim into two sessions: from 3:30pm – 5:15pm and from 5:30pm – 7:30pm, AND clearing the pool in between. Please plan accordingly!
For those who have not participated in the past, we hold the event the day after the pool closes for the summer. Dogs are given open access to the pool and get an opportunity to socialize with other area dogs. Make sure your dog is licensed! Please note that only dogs with a current license in their town will be allowed to participate. If you are a West Hartford Resident, click here for details on getting your dog licensed.

I did not attend the Pooch Plunge last year but am interested in bringing my Berner. Do we need to register in advance or can we just show up on the 24th?
